Finger-Lickin' Good
Cycle South Carolina offers three separate types of registration regarding meal plans. These will be available for purchase in late March.
1. All inclusive: Includes dinner, breakfast, and rest stops for every day of the entire tour.
2. Ala Carte: Includes dinner everyday or breakfast everyday. All rest stops are included.
3. On your own: Includes rest stops only.
South Carolina is famous for its Lowcountry and classic southern cuisine. CSC has lined up some amazing meals!
BREAKFAST:
Sumptuous breakfasts are provided by Mama Ralphael's every morning, and include the following:
- Varied throughout the week: Breakfast burritos, pancakes, waffles, and french toast.
- Fresh scrambled eggs
- Sausage, bacon, corn beef hash, or ham
- Biscuits and sausage gravy
- Grits with all the fixins' (butter, cheese, and bacon)
- Oatmeal with all the fixins' (brown sugar, molasses, raisons, cinnamon, sunflower seeds, and honey)
- Fruit, yogurt, pastries, and muffins
- Orange juice, milk, hot tea, cocoa, and coffee
REST STOPS:
Four rest stops will be set up each day, roughly every 15 miles. Each will include some combination of the following:
- Water
- Gatorade
- Salty Snack
- Sweet treat
- Fruite
- PB & J sandwich station
LUNCH:
Each day a picnic lunch will be provided at one of the rest stops, and some sample features are listed below:
- Baked Potato bar
- Hamburgers and Veggie Burgers
- Hot dogs and Brats
- Sandwich bar
DINNER:
The main event! Our local towns are set to show off some of the fare that made them famous:
- 1st Night, Mt. Pleasant:
- 2nd Night, St. Stephen
- Pork-fried rice, black beans, salad, rolls, tea, and dessert
- Vegetarian rice also available
- 3rd Night, Sumter
- Country Cookin'-Fried Chicken and all the fixins'
- 4th Night, Sumter
- Cheeseburger in Paradise burger bar
- Veggie burgers will also be available
- 5th Night, Orangeburg
- Real South Carolina BBQ with hash, rice, rolls, tea, and world-famous banana pudding
- 6th Night, Walterboro
- Lowcountry Boil with shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes
