The mission of Cycle South Carolina is to raise both funding and awareness for UMRC, while promoting active, healthy lifestyles and cycling safety.

What is Cycle South Carolina?
Cycle South Carolina is a six day bike ride across the state of South Carolina. The tour is over 400 miles long and explores some of South Carolina's greatest landscapes.
When is Cycle South Carolina?
June 13-18, 2010. The 12th of June is a registration day; cycling begins on the morning of the 13th.

What is the route?
The route is designed to take riders past South Carolina's greatest historical and scenic areas. The route starts in Charleston and then moves to St. Stephen, Sumter, Orangeburg, Walterboro, and back to Charleston.
How many miles is the ride?
The total mileage for the full six days of Cycle South Carolina is almost 450 miles. There is an optional century loop route which travels 100 miles on day 3 of the tour. For riders who wish to rest, we are spending two days in Sumter, and riders will have the chance to take day 3 off.
When can I enter?
You can register for Cycle South Carolina beginning November 16, 2009.
Is there a limit on entries?
Cycle South Carolina is limited to 500 riders.
Do I need to sign a Waiver?
Yes. You must mail your waiver in with your paper registration. If you decide to register on line, you can either mail your waiver to Cycle South Carolina's office or bring your signed waiver with you when you pick up your registration packet. Riders without waivers are not allowed to participate.
